AN INQUEST has opened into the death of a man in his 30s after he was found in his Southampton home.
Winchester Coroner’s Court heard last week that 32-year-old Mariusz Kaczorek was discovered at the address in Lyon Street on November 4.
In a report to the coroner, pathologist Dr Vipul Foria gave a preliminary cause of death of “aspiration of gastric contents” (the contents of his stomach entering his lungs), along with a condition of ketoacidosis, where there is a build up of a harmful substance that is created in the body.
Senior coroner Grahame Short adjourned the inquest to October 13.
