MUSICIANS will be paying tribute to a German rock band at a theatre this weekend.
Sudbury’s Quay Theatre is welcoming Scopyons, the first UK-based tribute to the German band Scorpions.
The tribute act formed in 2011 and rehearsed for nine months before playing their first show in September 2012.
The five-piece have since played in Munich, Germany alongside Scorpions guitarist Matthias Jabs at the fifth Anniversary of his MJ Guitars Store in March 2013.
Things have gone from strength to strength from there on in with bigger and better gig offers and more than 10,500 Facebook ‘likes’.
Covering classic hits right up to the modern day, Scopyons will be rocking the stage at the Quay this Saturday with tickets still up for grabs.
The band will be taking to the stage at 7.30pm.
