AN AFFECTIONATE Jack Russell is looking for his forever retirement home.
Oscar, the 11 year old terrier, is currently living at Danaher Animal Home in Wethersfield after the child in his old family was allergic to him.
After arriving at the centre, Oscar was anxious and fearful, but in time he has made a complete U-turn and is now looking for a new home to live out the rest of his years.
His handlers said he is "very sweet and affectionate" and "really enjoys having a back scratch and belly rub, he also likes to roll around and be silly on carpets.
"He loves to play fetch but his favourite thing is walking when he loves exploring and sniffing the world around him.
"He is a very clever dog who knows lots of commands, he enjoys brain games and snuffle mats." If you think you can offer Oscar a forever home visit the www.danaheranimalhome.org.uk or contact reception on 0300 111 4321.
