TV property show Location, Location, Location could be heading to this neck of the woods as stars Phil and Kirstie help house-hunters track down their dream home.

The long-running Channel 4 show is set to invite potential house-buyers to Wickham Bishops and nearby areas.

Property experts Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer will be helping chain-free buyers find their dream home in their 23rd series this June.

A parish council spokesman said: “Location, Location, Location is coming to Wickham Bishops and the surrounding area.

“Producers have promised it will not inconvenience parishioners and asked that interested parties, who are chain-free and need Kirstie and Phil’s help to apply.”

Casting director Eleanor Plackett confirmed Wickham Bishops as a location but said houses could be found in a 30 mile radius.

Kirstie said: “We’re delighted to be back helping Britain’s house hunters for our 23rd series.”

Location, Location, Location celebrates its 20th birthday next year.

Phil added: “It’s a well-loved series and I think that’s because the audience can see the shows are made to help people.

“No-one ever gets set up or made to look silly. We genuinely help people and we genuinely care.

“We’re always on the lookout for a wide range of budgets and we’re happy to advise on any spend.

“For us there’s as much satisfaction gained from helping people struggling to get their first foot on the ladder as there is for those looking for their forever home.”

The show first aired in May 2000 and has since spawned an Australian spin-off series and has been dubbed into Italian.

Filming in the area will take place from June 9-12 and the deadline for applications is this week.
