A SHOP worker has got herself in a sticky situation to raise funds for Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Zoe Boston, 26, will be sitting in a pool of slime for three hours at the Original Factory Shop in Halstead.
The store is raising funds for the charity throughout May as part of its 50th birthday celebrations.
Zoe, who works at the store and is hoping to raise £500, said: “My colleagues and I have been tasked with ways to raise money and the idea of a slime bath came to me while I was putting out some ‘make your own slime’ packets at work.
“I thought it would be a fun way to get the Halstead community involved.”
Zoe is offering shopers a chance to pour slime over her head on the day in return for a donation to the cause.
“I’m actually very excited about it.” she said.
“I’d like to get some more donations before the event, but I’m hoping the idea of covering someone in slime will pull in lots of donations on the day.”
Zoe’s slime pool is taking place on May 18 between 11am and 1pm, but Zoe said: “I might stay in longer, depending on how much I’ve raised beforehand.”
