A DOG has been finding it hard to adjust to kennel life after his owner died.

Admiral, who is a seven-year-old bull breed, is now in the care of Danaher Animal Home in Wethersfield.

The team at Danaher have been trying to find the affectionate chap a new home to call his own after the recent disruptions in his life.

Assistant manager Deborah Thomas said: “Since arriving, Admiral has struggled with being separated from his previous owner and has found kennel life difficult.

“He now unfortunately has become quite unsettled here.

“His handlers make each day special by spending lots of time with him, but this affectionate boy really needs a home to call his own.”

The centre is appealing for the perfect home to help Admiral settle back into normal life.

He has been assessed to live with children aged 14 years and above with staff’s discretion.

He cannot live with cats but may be able to live with another dog.
