Ann and Dennis Hume, who have run Hume's bakery in Halstead High Street, for 58 years.
Congratulations to Hume’s bakery in Halstead on approaching its 60th year in business.
With there seeming to be Greggs popping up all over the place it is great to see these local independent shops thrive, and what makes it more remarkable is the company has been kept in the family all this time.
Hopefully the business will be passed down many generations and continue to be a success.
