TICKETS are still on sale for a classic Easter panto not to be missed.

Touring pantomime company The Panto Bus is bringing its latest production to Halstead’s Empire Theatre.

The show, on Easter Sunday, tells the story of Goldilocks, The Three Bears And The Mayor Of Porridgeton.

The group have taken one of the nation’s favourite fairytale stories and added a brand new adventure that is fun for the whole family.

Children and adults alike will recognise their favourite parts of the traditional fairytale, with bright costumes, scenery and a whole heap of music and dancing, not to mention some fun and laughter along the way.

The group promises the show will have everyone singing and dancing in their seats – and maybe all the way home too.

The modern twist on the classic tale sets the scene at Porridgeton where the mayor has forbidden anyone from entering Bear Wood, until curious young Goldilocks decides to find out why.

After venturing into the wood, Goldilocks comes across a hidden cottage filled with different sized chairs, beds and a bowls of delicious porridge.

The adventure begins when the curious young lady meets the three bears as well as a whole host of new characters, including Spooner the sappy delivery boy and Eddie the gremlin.

The ban on entering Bear Wood was to keep the people of Porridgetown safe ... or at least that was what they thought.

Perhaps the mayor of Porridgeton is not quite what he seemed at the start.

The Panto Bus believes the magic of the theatre can not be beaten and strives to deliver fun, interactive and original performances.

Goldilocks, The Three Bears And The Mayor Of Porridgeton is being shown on Sunday, April 21. Doors open 2.30pm for a 3pm start. Tickets are £10 for adults and £8 for children from the box office on 07778 025490.
