JOBSEEKERS are invited to Salisbury Journal’s job fair next week to find out vacancies ideal for them and new work opportunities.

Returning for the second time this year, the fair will take place on Tuesday (April 2) in the guildhall between 9am and 3pm.

The event, supported by Salisbury and District Chamber of Commerce, will showcase a variety of jobs through stalls and talks, giving candidates the chance to speak freely with employers and find out how to get into their chosen industry.

Both skilled and unskilled candidates are encouraged to come along to the event for free, with plenty of information offered about both part-time work, full-time work, permanent work and temporary work.

Additionally apprenticeships, courses and careers advice will be available.

The fair is a chance to learn more about the qualifications and skills needed to secure roles in a wide range of job sectors, including care, engineering, health, logistics, transport, finance and more.

Candidates coming away from the job fair should hope to have a better understanding of the recruitment process, what skills are required based on their chosen field of work, how to make a successful job application and how to stand out when entering their dream career path.
