A COVERS band will be rocking the rafters at a Sible Hedingham social club.

Essex-based four-piece Risky Notes are appearing at the Hedingham Sport and Social Club, in Station Road, on Saturday, Sunday, March 23.

They will perform a 34-song set including Daft Punk’s Get Lucky and U2’s With Or Without You. Bassist Steve Grayston said: “We are looking forward to the event as we’ve heard good things about this club.

“We also have one of our loyal supporters, Debra Young, coming along to celebrate her 50th birthday, so it should be a great night. It’s our first time at the club and we hope it will not be our last.”

The band, which formed in July 2015 and is made up of Steve Grayston on bass, drummer Brad Grayston, Graham Bridgeman on guitar, and Sarah Norman on vocals. They have played in pubs, clubs and hotels all over Essex, and are known for covering pop and rock tracks from the 1980s through to the present.

They are also set to make an appearance at the Dedham Wine and Cider Festival in August.

The band recorded two tracks last year and hope to go back into the studio later this year.
