A MOTHER-OF-EIGHT who is battling breast cancer is set to hold her latest fundraising event.
Claire Whiteley, of Halstead, has so far managed to raise around £1,500 for Cancer Research UK from three of eight open days she has planned.
Holistic therapists will offer reflexology and other relaxing treatments and there will be stalls selling wax melts, aromatherapy products and body kits.
Mediums and psychics will also be offering guidance and spiritual counselling and the day time events have free workshops including platform mediums, gong baths and inspirational speakers.
Claire was diagnosed with an aggressive form of the cancer in January last year after discovering a golf ball-sized lump on Christmas Eve in 2016.
In a bid to raise cash for Cancer Research UK she is holding the events across the district.
The latest event will take place at Earls Colne Village Hall in York Road on Saturday, March 16, from 10am until 4pm.
