AN APPEAL has been launched following the collision of two cars on Monday morning.

A black Ford Focus and a blue Volkswagen Golf were reported to have collided on Halstead Road in Aldham.

Police have reported that both cars left the road and hit a wooden fence at around 6.20am.

There were no serious injuries.

Anyone who has any information or dash cam footage is asked to contact PC Paul Barry at Stanway Roads Policing Unit on 101.
