A PRIMARY school says it is set to improve facilities following a series of generous donations.
St Margaret’s, in Toppesfield, has received funding from various organisations to improve its library and IT facilities.
Earls Colne and Halstead Educational Charity, which supports local schools, gave a grant for library furniture.
Toppesfield Community Shop gave St Margaret’s money to buy a collection of ‘100 best books that all children should read’.
St Margaret’s also registered to be involved with the East of England Co-op’s Community Token Scheme.
The scheme lets shoppers vote which cause gets a grant and the community chose St Margaret’s.
The money will go towards improving IT at the school and providing “much needed” new equipment.
