ONE of Britain’s biggest job fairs is set to return to Braintree next month, promising hundreds of work opportunities.

Now in its fourth year, Braintree Job Fair, at Causeway House in Bocking End, is open to job-seekers of all ages and from all backgrounds, offering the chance to speak with top local employers from a number of sectors.

The free event, on March 9, is organised by Braintree Council in partnership with Job Centre Plus and sponsored by Freeport Braintree.

Feedback from last year showed 100 per cent of attendees would recommend the job fair to others and 96 per cent said it helped them with their job search.

Council economic development boss Tom Cunningham said: “Each year our job fair gets bigger and better, and this year promises to be another fantastic success, with hundreds of opportunities in a wide range of sectors open for everyone.

“We want everyone who lives and works in our district to get into good jobs and careers, and this job fair is a great way to highlight the high quality employment opportunities available locally.”

The job fair will be open between 10am and 2pm.

Free parking will be available at Causeway House for those who attend.
