A RENOWNED artist is asking for the public's help to make her latest exhibition a big success.
As part of the opening weekend of her show Welcome to My World of Steam Rallies, Georgie Roy is hosting a mini steam rally in the Minories gallery's walled garden, in High Street, Colchester.
Collectors are being invited to bring along their own mini steam engines, as long as they are no more than 36 inches wide, to display to the general public.
The Gosfield artist's latest show is a collection of paintings and drawings of traction engines and rollers, both new and from across her colourful career.
The steam rally will take place on Sunday, April 7, between 11am and 4pm.
