Firefighters battled a large blaze in the early hours of this morning. (Saturday, January 19)
Several crews were called to the scene in a field off the A131 in Bulmer Tye at around 3.45am.
When they arrived they found a pile of wood chips and logs was alight.
Two crews from Halstead remained at the scene while it was allowed to burn out.
