TWO men have been arrested after a couple of teenagers were threatened near a park.
A 16-year-old girl and a 17 year-old boy were approached by two men near the skate park in Coggeshall Road, Braintree, at around 7pm on Wednesday, January 9.
They were threatened by the two men who demanded they had over money.
The teenagers were able to escape unharmed.
Shortly after the incident, it was reported a flat in nearby Great Square had been broken into.
A 43-year-old man and a 33 year-old man, both from Braintree, were arrested later that evening on suspicion of robbery and burglary.
The 43-year-old man has been released under investigation and the 33-year-old man has been released without charge.
