A TRAVEL agent in Halstead are celebrating its most successful appeals for vulnerable children.
Premier Travel collected more than 600 toys from customers for local children in care.
The appeal for donations ran over a six week period which saw the growing collection almost take over the shop.
One couple, Paul and Anna Syder, collected toys throughout the entire year to donate to the appeal.
Sarah Colson, branch manager, said: "This year’s appeal has been our best yet and we are truly overwhelmed by the generosity of the Halstead community.
"We have loved seeing children getting involved by bringing in their own gifts and having an input in what their parents have donated.
"One customer even brought in six large bags full of toys.
"We want to say a big thank you to everyone who has helped make our appeal such a success."
