A BARN has been completely destroyed following a fire in Pentlow.
Two crews from Halstead Fire Service attended the scene at Pentlow Lane alongside four Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service crews at around 12.30am on Friday morning to tackle the blaze.
When crews arrived they reported the whole barn was alight.
Accoridng to Essex Fire and Rescue Service, the barn contained a number of cylinders which needed to be removed from the barn quickly and cooled to ensure they were safe.
Between the six fire crews, the blaze was extinguished at around two hours later at 2:30am.
The barn, which measured 20m x 25m, has been totally destroyed by fire.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this stage.
