A school welcomed back its Class of 2018 to mark the achievements of its highest performing pupils.
The Ramsey Academy, in Colne Road, Halstead, invited its GCSE pupils back to the school for a ceremony to hand over certificates and give special awards to pupils.
Deputy headteacher Calum Leys, of the Ramsey Academy, expressed great pride in his students’ results.
Mr Leys said: “It was a wonderful evening with the opportunity to catch up with students about their continuing studies and work.
“Alongside families and friends we celebrated the fantastic achievements of this group of students whose results have ensured that the Ramsey Academy is recognised as one of the best schools in Essex.”
