Fire crews tackle blaze in Leather Lane, Great Yeldham
A house was filled with smoke after a fire broke out in a kitchen.
Firefighters from Halstead were called out to a property in Leather Lane, Great Yeldham, at around 3pm on Tuesday after residents had witnessed large clouds of smoke.
The team arrived to find a house completely filled with smoke.
Firefighters used breathing apparatus to get inside the house and to the kitchen, where the fire had taken hold.
The blaze was quickly extinguished and no one was hurt.
An investigation into how the fire began is ongoing.
