Garden fence goes up in flames
A garden fence has been damaged after it went up in flames.
Residents living in Colchester Road, Halstead, were alarmed to see fire coming from the back garden of a property late yesterdayevening.
Firefighters were called out to the scene at 8.41pm to find the flames spreading towards the house.
The owner was able to contain the fire before fire crews took over and swiftly extinguished the flames by 9pm.
The blaze has been recorded as accidental.
