Pack your bags and get ready to leave because the Audley End miniature railway is ready to take you away for some frightening fun.

Wicked witches await as the train travels deep into the woods for a journey you won’t forget in a hurry.

Little devils will be given a trick or treat bag before boarding the haunted Halloween express to where the witches live with their pumpkin friends on the estate.

They will entertain their visitors as they arrive at their cobweb clad clearing by cackling and chanting spells around their cauldron before giving everyone a special treat.

But be warned, make sure you behave as they perform their witches’ dance or you might just have a spell cast on you.

The witches love seeing their visitors dressed in their spooky best so make sure you dress to scare.

After the frightening journey, the Halloween fun will carry on in the activity area where children can make creepy crafts and try out their devilish dance moves.

Spooky stories will be read while face painters will be on standby for anyone who needs a scary makeover.

Devilishly delicious food and drink will be available at the Signal Box Café to refresh witches and ghouls who are bound the be hungry after so much excitement.

The Halloween spooktacular is spooky - by definition - but never scary and therefore suitable for even the smallest of monsters.

The event runs from Saturday, October 20, through half-term week before coming to an end on Wednesday, October 31.

The trains run from 10am until 4.40pm except on October 29, 30 and 31 when it will run from 4pm until 6.40pm.

Booking is required at www.audley-end-railway.co.uk as tickets cannot be bought on the day.
