A cafe is celebrating after being crowned Halstead's best in 2018.
Gazette readers have voted Halstead Cafe, on High Street, as the best in the town.
Members of the public were asked to nominate their favourite cafe, with the most nominated tea shops being shortlist for the Gazette's Cafe of the Year Award.
Following a round of voting, readers chose Halstead Cafe as this year's winner.
Owner Adnan Ozer set up his business in 2003 having run a similar venture in London for three years.
He admitted he and his staff were proud to be named the town's best cafe amid growing competition.
He added: "We were elated when we found out. We have been here for 15 years and customers know the quality and service they are getting when they come here.
"We try to do our best and make the best food and drink possible.
"There are a lot of cafes in Halstead and new ones keep coming so we have to make sure we improve and are always at our best."
