The trust which runs a vital air ambulance service is asking supporters to host their very own afternoon tea parties this June.
Essex & Herts Air Ambulance’s A Very British Afternoon Tea scheme aims to raise funds for the lifesaving charity People are asked to get baking and host their own tea party at a location of their choosing and ask those who attend to make a small donation to the trust.
Sabi Stafford, Essex Fundraising Manager for Essex & Herts Air Ambulance, said: “A Very British Afternoon Tea is a great way to get together with friends and family and indulge in some treats while raising money for the air ambulance.
“It costs more than £500,000 a month to keep the service running smoothly and we couldn’t do it without the dedication and support of the people of Essex and Hertfordshire.”
The afternoon tea scheme runs throughout the entire month of June.
