An award-winning counselling service has officially opened its new centre in Castle Hedingham.

ExploringU’s second centre for wellbeing has been unveiled in King Street where it will offer counselling, psychotherapy and brain injury rehabilitation services and support.

Since forming in 2008, ExploringU has won a number of awards, and is led by top psychotherapist Glenda Roberts.

She said: “We are delighted to have opened our second wellbeing centre in Castle Hedingham, which means more people than ever will have easy access to our services.

“The new centre offers a calm, quiet, and safe space where people can work through their emotional issues with accredited and qualified counsellors in a confidential environment.

“The furniture and the colour scheme at the new centre have been chosen to create a calming and healing atmosphere.”

The second ExploringU centre will work in collaboration with its existing premises in Station Road, Sudbury, with services combined.

Ms Roberts said: “At both of our centres we offer counselling to individuals, couples and families and to those on a low income.

“We also take referrals from GPs so people can access counselling services when they need them rather than being placed on long waiting lists.”
