SELFLESS school pupils took part in a harvest festival before donating items to the Halstead food bank.
Gosfield School held its annual harvest service at St Catherine’s Church in Gosfield.
Pupils sang song, took part in readings and performed choreographed routines.
The pupils also learnt about giving to those who are less fortunate and donated items to the Halstead Food Bank.
Ambassadors from the school gave up a morning of their half term holidays to deliver the donations to the food bank at St Andrew’s Church.
A spokesman for the school said: “Gosfield School is extremely pleased to see their pupils are taking so much pride in helping the community.”
