More than £200,000 worth of possessions were destroyed in a large blaze near Halstead.
The fire ripped through 14 units at Shardlowes Farm, off Halstead Road, Gosfield, destroying 20 cars and equipment owned by those who rent out the units.
It took 30 firefighters more than six hours to get the blaze under control.
They successfully managed to prevent it spreading to a nearby farm house, owned by Josie Tutton.
Mrs Tutton, who son Peter partowns the workshops, said the clear-up effort was still on going.
“We have been clearing since the fire last Wednesday and keep filling up a very big skip,” she said.
“It gets emptied every day, but by Monday we were only about a third of the way through.”
