A group of ladies with a combined age of 250 years is undertaking a charity moonlight marathon.
The Maplestead Molls Moonwalkers is made up of Natasha Rutherford, Karen Sunnucks, Sara Spencer-Brown, Jane Piper, all of Little Maplestead, and Christine Thrower, of Halstead.
Personal trainer Natasha, 41, said: “We are all neighbours and friends of neighbours who have known each other for several years.
“We were all just having a chat last year when I mentioned I would like to do something for charity.
“I suggested the MoonWalk in London because I hadn’t done it before and they all agreed and though it was a good idea.
“It is going to be brilliant.
“We are all really excited.”
