A poodle-mad pair whose dogs appear in films and Crufts have dyed two of them pink for the festive season.
Marie and Derek Stoker own eight poodles and even have a customised caravan to ensure the dogs can come on holiday with them.
The couple are well known in Twinstead village as they are often seen the walking the dogs, with two proving particularly eye catching.
Toy poodle Nichey is currently sporting pink fur, which was done using a vegetable based dye, and standard poodle Tulula has bright pink legs.
Dad-of-two Derek, 48, said: “It is just fun, it is fun to do and the little dog likes the attention.
“When I take Nichey out if I had a pound for everyone that took photos of her, she gets lots of fuss and loves being held, and we enjoy doing it.”
Derek stressed it is a semi-permanent dye specially formulated for dogs and will simply grow out.
