A new adaptation of a play by Oscar Wilde is heading to Braintree.

A version of Lord Arthur Savile’s Crime by the playwright has been created by artistic director Martin Harris with theatre company Rocket Theatre.

The show, a tale of love, honour, duty, fortune telling and of course, murder, will be held on Friday.

This hilarious two-man show has Harris playing Lord Arthur with his trusty valet Middlewick brought to life by Chris Bridgman.

The company will be celebrating its 100th performance at the Braintree Arts Theatre, where the show will take to the stage, since being formed in 1995.

Tickets, priced at £10 and £8 for concessions, are available from the Theatre in Notley Road and from the Box Office on 01376 556 354 or at braintreeartstheatre.com
