Ricky Wilson is still waiting to hear The Voice’s decision on whether or not he will be back for a third series as judge.
The Kaiser Chiefs frontman is part of the mentoring panel on the BBC singing contest, but admitted he still hadn’t heard for sure whether his services would be required again.
He told The Sun: “I haven’t heard from The Voice as everyone is on holiday or at Glastonbury. I’ve got to get down to Glastonbury and knock a few heads together.”
However, he admitted: “But I don’t know if I’d do it again.”
Ricky joined the judges in 2014, replacing The Script’s Danny O’Donoghue, and was back again this year alongside regulars Sir Tom Jones and Will.i.am, as well as newcomer Rita Ora who has now confirmed that she has defected to ITV’s rival show, The X Factor, for the coming series.
Last series was a good one for Ricky, as he mentored the show’s eventual winner Stevie McCrorie.
Sir Tom and Will.i.am are both also yet to confirm whether they will be back for series five in January, although they have taken part in every series so far.
