A show packed full of fairytale characters, mischief and fun is heading to Colne Engaine Village Hall next week.

In Once Upon A Witch, there is trouble afoot in Fairyland as the recession has hit and stories have fallen on hard times and had to tighten their belts.

With stories shrinking, the tales have had to be mixed up.

They used to be able to afford lots of kings and queens, princes and princesses and ogres and dragons but can now only afford one of each meaning that everyone is rushed off their feet and starting to lose the plot.

Performed by the Colne Engaine Dramatic Society, the show is sure to entertain young and old with its twists and turns.

The panto will be running on Thursday and Friday at 8pm and at 2.30pm and 8pm on Saturday.

Tickets £6, available from the box office on 01787 222360.
