(Bridleway 45, Rayne) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2017

(Bridleway 45, Rayne) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the above Order made by Essex County
Council, under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, has been
continued in force with the consent of the Secretary of State for the
Department for Transport until 8th November 2018.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Bridleway 45,
Rayne, underneath the width of Fenton Farm Bridge (ECC No. 1504)
for a distance of approximately 8 metres.
The closure commenced on 8 November 2017 and is required for the
safety of the public due to bridge being in a dangerous condition.

(Jaspers Green, Shalford)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the
above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Jaspers
Green, Shalford in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately
45m southeast of its junction with Water Lane for a distance of
approximately 20m in a southeasterly direction. The closure is
scheduled to commence on 9th May 2018 for 1 day, or where stated
on a valid permit (AD03153807344 – Anglian Water). The scheduled
dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or
displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the
safety of the public and workforce while replacing telephone box
works are undertaken by Anglian Water.
An alternative route is available via Jaspers Green, Shalford Road,
Shalford Green, Church End, Braintree Road, Water Lane, Kynaston
Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 26th April 2018 and may continue
in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed,
whichever is the earlier.

(Temporary Introduction Of
30mph Speed Limit) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made
the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily introduce a 30 mph speed limit in
that length of Mill Lane, Cressing in the District of Braintree, from a
point approximately 30m southeast of its junction with Bulford Lane
for a distance of approximately 100m in a southeasterly direction.
The speed limit reduction is scheduled to commence on 3rd May
2018 for 550 days, or where stated on a valid permit (Bellway Homes).
The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs
showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The speed limit
reduction is required for the safety of the public and workforce while
construction of a new residential development is undertaken by
Bellway Homes.
The Order came into effect on 26th April 2018 and may continue
in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed,
whichever is the earlier.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Clearway)
(No.4) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not
less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above
Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close the various lengths of road in the District of
Braintree as specified in the schedule to this Order.
2. A temporary ‘No Stopping’ restriction will be introduced on both
sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration
of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed
indicating when the No Stopping restriction will be in force.
“The Essex County Council (Braintree District) (Permitted Parking Area
and Special Parking Area) (Consolidation) Order 2008” will be
temporarily amended to include the temporary ‘No Stopping at Any
Time’ restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting
restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions
and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and
Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month
period from 10th May 2018 exact dates will be specified on
http://roadworks.org/. The roads will be closed to facilitate each
phase and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for
emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location
and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/
leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.
