(Footpath 10, Rayne) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council
intends, not less than seven days from the date of this
notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of
the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of
Footpath 10, Rayne in the District of Braintree, for a
distance of approximately 10 metres either side of Wind Pump Bridge (ECC Bridge No. 2719).
The closure is scheduled to commence on 19 March 2018
for 3 weeks or where appropriate signs are showing and
weather permitting, and is required for the safety of the
public and workforce while works to replace the
footbridge are undertaken.
The alternative route will be via Footpath 91, Braintree & Bocking and Footpath 60, Braintree & Bocking, Rayne
Road footway, Footpath 67, Braintree & Bocking and
vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 19 March 2018 and
may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have
been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Notice is hereby given Colchester Borough Council
acting on behalf of the North Essex Parking Partnership in
exercise of the delegated powers of the traffic authority
Essex County Council granted under an Agreement dated
31 March 2011 proposes to make the above Order under
Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4 (1), 4(2), 32, 35,45,46,49 and 53
and Parts III and IV of schedule 9 of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984.

This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County
Council (Braintree District) (Permitted Parking Area and
Special Parking Area) (Consolidation) Order 2008 by
substituting tile numbers TL770 232 to revision 2, TL770
235 to revision 2, TL820 135 revision 3 and by inserting
new tile number TL735 205.

plans showing the specified lengths of roads, a Statement
of Reasons for proposing to make the Orders and a copy
of the Order to be amended may be inspected during
normal office hours at Essex Highways, County Hall,
Chelmsford, CM1 1QH, Braintree District Council,

Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council
intends, not less than seven days from the date of this
notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of
the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of
Sheepcotes Lane, Silver End in the District of Braintree,
from a point approximately 220m northeast of its junction
with Boars Tye Road for a distance of approximately 18m
in a northeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to
commence on 26th March 2018 for 5 days, or where
stated on a valid permit (AZ0081000670614 – Cadent
Gas). The scheduled dates may vary for these works
with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.
roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of
the public and workforce while gas service works are
undertaken by Cadent Gas.
An alternative route is available via Sheepcotes Lane,
Boars Tye Road, Links Road, Hollies Road, Fiveash Lane
and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 15th March 2018 and
may continue in force for 18 months or until the works
have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
