Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Bakers Lane, Black Notley in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 235m west of its junction with Church Road for a distance of approximately 181m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 1st March 2018 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC005PT12W0000BLQ63491SS - BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole testing works are undertaken by BT. An alternative route is available via Bakers Lane, Church Road, Notley Road, St Michaels Road, High Street, London Road, Roseval Roundabout, Link Under Braintree Bypass, King William Roundabout, Windermere Drive and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 15th February 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Hyde Lane, Great Saling) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hyde Lane, Great Saling in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Bardfield Road for a distance of approximately 474m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 12th March 2018 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC006MU1WBAUSEWAJKEN6G06 - BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while duct clearing works are undertaken by BT. An alternative route is available via Braintree Road, The Street, Wethersfield Road, Silver Street, Meadside, Finchingfield Road, Church Hill, The Green, Bardfield Road, Bridge End, Vine Street, Brook Street, Hyde Lane, Victoria Hill, Shalford Green, Church End and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 15th February 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Queenborough Lane, Braintree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Queenborough Lane, Braintree in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Avenue East to its junction with New Lane, a distance of approximately 1194m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 12th March 2018 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC005CN17W012MARYFL578EA - BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by BT. An alternative route is available via Queenborough Lane, Avenue East, Business Park Link, Garden Village Way, Great Leighs Bypass, Moulsham Hall Lane, Main Road, Bartholomew Green Road, School Road, New Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 15th February 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Pole Lane, White Notley) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Pole Lane, White Notley in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Green Lane to its junction with Witham Road, a distance of approximately 1615m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 12th February 2018 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2240892 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the
safety of the public and workforce while renew gullying and cleaning drainage system works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Fairstead Road, Pole Lane, Peg Millars Lane, Terling Road, Faulkbourne Road, The Street, Church Hill, Witham Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 1st February 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Newland Street, Witham) (Temporary Introduction of 6'6" Width Limit & Temporary Prohibition of HGV's) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily introduce a 6'6" width limit on that length of Newland Street, Witham in the District of Braintree, from its junction with The Avenue to its junction with Freebournes Road, a distance of approximately 725m.
2. To temporarily introduce a Prohibition of HGV's in the same length of road.
The temporary Orders are scheduled to commence on 1st February 2018. The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The Orders are required for the safety of the public and workforce whilst essential bridge works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
The Order came into effect on 1st February 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Pasture Road, Witham & Freebournes Road, Witham) (Temporary Suspension of Width Restriction) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily suspend the Width Restriction Order for that length of Pasture Road, Witham in the District of Braintree from a point approximately 22m east of its junction with Greenfield for a distance of approximately 38m in an easterly direction as detailed in the 'Essex County Council (Pasture Road/Freebournes Road, Witham) (Width Restriction) Order 1996'. The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The suspension is required to create a safe diversion route for vehicles whilst essential bridge upgrade works are undertaken on Nayland Road, Witham by Essex County Council.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Mowden Hall Lane, Hatfield Peverel in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 80m west of its junction with Crabbs Hill for a distance of approximately 124m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 19th February 2018 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit
(BC005CB1W00000EA3PYD28SH - BT). The
scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for
the safety of the public and workforce while renewal of faulty aerial cable works are undertaken by BT. An alternative route is available via Mowden Hall Lane, London Road, Hatfield Peverel Bypass, The Street, Church Road, Crabb's Hill and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 1st February 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Blackmore End, Wethersfield) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Blackmore End, Wethersfield in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Lower Green Road for a distance of approximately 103m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 20th February 2018 for 1 day, or where stated on a
valid permit (BC006CT002AP500235460802 - BT).
The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www. roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by BT.
An alternative route is available via Hedingham Road, Wethersfield Road, Morris Green Road, Blackmore End Road, Pattens Farm Road, Bakers Farm Lane and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 15th February 2018 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Various Roads, Braintree District) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Clearway) (No.1) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close the various lengths of road in the District of Braintree as specified in the schedule to this Order.
2. A temporary 'No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Stopping restriction will be in force.
"The Essex County Council (Braintree District) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Consolidation) Order 2008" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force. The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 15th February 2018 exact dates will be specified on http://roadworks.org/. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter / leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.
