(Broad Street Green Road, Great Totham) (Temporary 40 mph Speed Limit) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily introduce a 40 mph speed limit on the following length of Broad Street Green Road, Great Totham in the District of Maldon from a point approximately 720m south of its junction with Captain Woods Road for a distance of approximately 1230m in a southerly direction. The temporary speed limit is scheduled to commence on 8th January 2018 for 61 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EN013174358A - Essex and Suffolk Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The speed reduction is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new water main installation works are undertaken by Essex
and Suffolk Water.
The Order came into effect on
14th December 2017 and may continue
in force for 18 months or until the works have
been completed, whichever is the earlier.
