Definitive Map and Statement for the County of Essex The Essex County Council Definitive Map Modification No. 631 Footpath 42 Stanway (Colchester District) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that Essex County Council on 13 October 2017 confirmed the above mentioned Order and it took effect on that day. The effect of the Order is to modify the Definitive Map for the County of Essex by:-
Adding a length of public footpath from the Western bypass, south of the Tollgate Centre at point B on the order plan, in a generally easterly direction along the northern boundary of the former quarry, for a distance of approximately 563 metres to Tollgate Road. The width of the way is 5 feet or 1.52 metres. The route is not maintainable at public expense.
A copy of the Order and Order map may be seen free of charge during normal office hours at Colchester Borough Council Offices, Rowan House, 33 Sheepen Road Colchester, Essex CO3 3WG and at the Chelmsford Library, Market Road, Chelmsford, where copies will be available on request at a charge.
If any person is aggrieved by this Order and desires to question its validity on the ground that it is not within the powers of section 53 or that any of the requirements of Schedule 15 have not been complied with in relation to it, he may within 42 days from the date of publication of this Notice make an application to the High Court under paragraph 12(1) of Schedule 15 to the Act.

(High Street and North Hill, Colchester) (Temporary Waiting Restriction) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given Colchester Borough Council acting on behalf of the North Essex Parking Partnership in exercise of the delegated powers of the traffic authority Essex County Council granted under an Agreement dated 31 March 2011 intends to make the following order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effects of the order: To introduce no waiting and no loading between 6pm on Saturday 11th November and 6pm on Sunday 12th November 2017 in those lengths of High Street, Colchester described below and to introduce no stopping except taxis in the following length of road on North Hill Colchester. The restrictions are required to avoid danger to the public and other traffic on the road and to prevent the likelihood of any such danger occurring whilst Remembrance Day event takes place and to provide a temporary taxi rank for taxis unable to park in the High Street.

Notice of Confirmation of an Order Highways Act 1980 - Section 119 Fingringhoe & Langenhoe Borough of Colchester Public Path Diversion Orders 2017
The above Orders, confirmed on 20th October, 2017, will divert public Footpaths 7 in the Parish of Langenhoe Bridleway 4 and Footpath 13 in the Parish of Fingringhoe in the Borough of Colchester as shown on the Order maps contained in these Orders.
A part length of Bridleway 4 Fingringhoe which ran across a lake and the access road, will be diverted to a new alternative route commencing at the same place and running along the existing access road to the east, re-joining the definitive route further south. A part length of Footpath 13 Fingringhoe at South House Farm which ran to the south of the pond will be diverted to a new route running along the existing track north of the pond. A further section of the path which ran to the south west of the property known as Geedon Barn will be diverted to a new route to the south along the field perimeter A part length of Footpath 7 Langenhoe which becomes Footpath 13 Fingringhoe where it crosses the parish boundary will be diverted from its current route adjacent and close to the MOD building at Fingringhoe Camp to an alternative route to the west running around the perimeter of 3 consecutive fields and the wood at the north end. A copy of the Orders and Order Maps have been placed in and may be seen free of charge at Colchester Library and at the Chelmsford Public Library, Market Road, Chelmsford during normal working hours. Copies of the Order and Order map are available on request from the Chelmsford Library at a charge.
The new routes will come into effect on 17th November, 2017. However, if any person aggrieved by an order, wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within 6 weeks from the date of this Notice, make an application to the High
Court.

(Alderton Road, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Alderton Road, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Harwich Road to its junction with Fairhead Road North, a distance of approximately 178m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 20th November 2017 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2236389 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Fairhead Road North, Dilbridge Road East, Harwich Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 9th November 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier
(Various Roads, Tendring District) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Clearway) (No.11) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close the various lengths of road in the District of Tendring as specified in Schedule 1.
2. A temporary 'No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Stopping restriction will be in force.
"The Essex County Council (Tendring District) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Consolidation) Order 2008" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force. The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 9th November 2017, exact dates will be specified on http:// roadworks.org/.
