Notice is hereby given that a Public Meeting is to be held at Rivenhall Village Hall, Church Road, CM8 3PH on Monday 9th October between 5pm and 7pm to discuss the proposal.
The proposed designation will be for the entire length of the road between its junctions with Forest Road, Witham and Rickstones Road, Rivenhall. Representations regarding the proposal should be made in writing by 31st October 2017 to Local.HighwayPanels@essexhighways.org or to the below address

Notice is hereby given that Essex County Council has received further information (relating to Landscape; Ecological and Noise matters) in relation to an Environmental Statement accompanying a planning application made by Tarmac Trading Ltd on 1st March 2017 for a new sand and gravel quarry at Broadfield Farm, to the west of Rayne, near Braintree, comprising the phased extraction of some 3.66m tonnes of sand and gravel; the installation of processing plant and ancillary buildings and infrastructure; the construction of a quarry access onto the B1256; the construction of a permanent screening landform; the construction of temporary screen mounds in defined locations around the perimeter of the quarry; the phased restoration of the extraction area using indigenous soils; overburden and clay from within the application site to a land use mixture of arable agriculture, lowland acid grassland, lowland meadow, woodland, lake and reedbeds; and public access via proposed public rights of way. Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Mill Road, Great Bardfield in the District of Basildon, from a point approximately 180m east of its junction with Mill close for a distance of approximately 40m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 30th October 2017 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03153719677 - Anglian Water). (Various Roads, Braintree District) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) (Streetworks No.5) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:
To temporarily close the various lengths of road in the District of Braintree as specified in Schedule 1.
The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 16th October 2017 exact dates will be specified on http:// roadworks.org/. Access will be maintained for emergency services. An alternative route is available via Church Road, Great Yeldham Road, Stambourne Road, Ridgewell Road, Mill Road, Drury Lane, Birdbrook Road and vice versa.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 16th October 2017 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ0081000618381 - Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on www.roadworks.org. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new gas connection works are undertaken by Cadent. An alternative route is available via Cressing Road, Witham Road, Temple Lane, Church Road, Western Road, Park Road and vice versa.
