Essex County Council Section 53 Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 Definitive Map and Statement for the County of Essex The Essex County Council Definitive Map Modification No. 628 (Footpath 49 Greenstead Green, Braintree District) Order 2016
The above Order made on 14 December 2016, if confirmed as made, will modify the Definitive Map for the area by:-
1. Adding a footpath from Halstead Road at Whiteash Green running in a north-westerly direction along the western bank of the watercourse to the eastern boundary of Broaks Wood.
A copy of the Order and the Order map may be seen free of charge during normal office hours at Braintree District Council, Causeway House, Braintree CM7 9HB and at the Chelmsford Library, Market Road, Chelmsford CM1 1QH where copies will be available on request at a charge. Any representation or objection relating to the Order must be sent in writing to the Director for Essex Legal Services, Essex County Council, Seax House, Victoria Road South, Chelmsford, Essex, CM1 1QH, to arrive not later than 23rd March 2017, and it is requested that the grounds on which it is made are stated. If no representations or objections are duly made to the Order, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Essex County Council, instead of submitting the Order to the Secretary of State, may itself confirm the Order. If the Order is submitted to the Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, any representations or objections, which have been duly made and not withdrawn, will be sent with it.

(Various Roads, Braintree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Clearway) (No.2) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:
To temporarily close the various lengths of road in the District of Braintree as specified: Road Description Alternative

2. A temporary 'No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the

No Stopping restriction will be in force. The Essex County Council (Braintree District) (permitted parking area and special parking area) (Consolidation) Order 2008 will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force The works being undertaken will take place within an 18 month period from 6th February 2017, exact dates will be specified on http://roadworks.org/. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for pedestrians and emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.
Phase One
Preparatory works for carriageway resurfacing. Phase Two
Machine surfacing - the existing surface will be removed and a new surface laid.

(Rectory Lane, Rivenhall) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council
has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length
To
of Rectory Lane, in the Parish of Rivenhall in the District
of Braintree from its junction with Rickstones Road,
south east to its junction with Forest Road.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 6 February
2017 for three days or where appropriate signs are
showing and weather permitting.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and
workforce while highway patching is undertaken.
The alternative route will be via Rickstones Road, Forest
Road, and vice versa.
Access for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times during the closure. The Order will come into effect on 6 February 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Water Lane, Stisted) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Water Lane, in the Parish of Stisted in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 375 metres north of its junction with Milles Lane, north for a distance of approximately 35 metres.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 14 February 2017 for three days or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while a new water connection is installed. The alternative route will be via A1124, B1024, A120, and vice versa.
Access for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times during the closure. The Order will come into effect on 14 February 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Queenborough Lane, Rayne) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2017
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Queenborough Lane, in the Parish of Rayne in the District of Braintree from its junction with Avenue East for a distance of approximately 650m in a north direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 13th February 2017 for two days or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new customer connection is undertaken. The alternative route will be via Gore Road, Rayne road, Pods Brook Road, Garden Village Way and vice versa. Access for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times during the closure. The Order will come into effect on 13th February 2017 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
