(London Road, Maldon) (40mph Speed Limit) Order 201*

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council proposes to make the above Order under Sections 84(1) and (2), and Part III of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To introduce a 40MPH speed limit on the following length of London Road, Maldon in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 49.7 metres west of its junction with Beacon Hill (the terminal point of the 30mph speed limit), westwards for approximately 395 metres (the road is currently national speed limit). Further details: A copy of the draft Order, a copy of this notice, a map illustrating the proposal and the Statement of Reasons may be examined at all reasonable hours at Network Assurance, A2 Annexe Seax House, Victoria Road South, Chelmsford; Maldon District Council, Council Offices, Princes Road, Maldon and at Maldon Library, White Horse Lane, Maldon.
