(Fordstreet Hill, Aldham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Fordstreet Hill, Aldham in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Green Lane to its junction with New Road a distance of approximately 585m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 18th July 2022 for 6 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2315748 -Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while footway repair works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Ford Street, Halstead Road, Ponders Road, Colchester Road, Tyburn Hill, Colneford Hill, Lower Holt Street, Upper Holt Street, Coggeshall Road, Colne Road, A120, Coggeshall Bypass, A120, Broad Green, Marks Tey Roundabout, A120 J A12 West Roundabout, Station Road, A120, A12, A120 J A12 East Roundabout, Prince Of Wales Roundabout, London Road, Western Approach, Essex Yeomanry Way, Halstead Road Roundabout, A1124 Halstead Road and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 23rd June 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier

(High Street, West Mersea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of High Street, West Mersea in the Borough of Colchester from its junction with Melrose Road to its junction with Yorick Road a distance of approximately 115m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 8th July 2022 for 1 night (20:00-05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2325621 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while footway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Yorick Road, Kingsland Road, Barfield Road, High Street and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 23rd June 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Langham Road, Boxted) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Langham Road, Boxted in the Borough of Colchester from its junction with Straight Road for a distance of approximately 880m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 11th July 2022 for 10 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2329271 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Severalls Lane, Axial Way, Via Urbis Romanae, Northern Approach Road, Nayland Road Roundabout, Boxted Road, Straight Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 23rd June 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier

(St Osyth Road, Alresford) (Temporary Introduction of 3 Tonne Weight Restriction) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily introduce a 3 tonne weight restriction in that length on St Osyth Road, Alresford in the District of Alresford, from a point approximately 205m south east of its junction with Coach Road for a distance of approximately 160m in a south easterly direction. The restriction is scheduled to continue from 30th June 2022 for 531 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH1000352 -Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The restriction is required for the safety of the public for structural reasons on behalf of Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via St Osyth Road, Tenpenny Hill, Clacton Road, Station Road, Holly Bush Hill, Dial Road, Flag Hill, Colchester Road, Bypass Road, St Johns Road, St Johns Roundabout, Little Clacton Bypass, Bovills Roundabout, Bovills Way, Little Clacton Weeley Bypass, Colchester Road Roundabout, Main Road, Frating Hill, Clacton Road Westbound, Brightlingsea Road, Clacton Road Interchange, Clacton Road Eastbound, Broad Lanes and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 30th June 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier
