Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council proposes to make the above Order(s) under Sections 1(1) and (2), and 2(1) to (3) and Part III of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the Order: To prohibit vehicles travelling in a southerly direction on Panfield Lane to make a left hand turn onto B1256 Rayne Road, Braintree.
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council proposes to make the above Order(s) under Sections 1(1) and (2), and 2(1) to (3) and Part III of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the Order: To prohibit vehicles travelling in a southerly direction on Panfield Lane to make a left hand turn onto B1256 Rayne Road, Braintree.
Notice is also given that the Essex County Council proposes to alter the existing carriageway to construct a Segregated One-Way Contraflow Cycleway' on the following lengths of road in the District of Braintree; under highway improvement powers given by section 65 and 66 of the Highways Act 1980 and all other enabling powers:

B1256 Coggeshall Road/Rayne Road (Mandatory)   i. SOUTH SIDE: From a point in line with the property boundary of numbers 20 and 20b B1256 Coggeshall Road in west to the eastern kerb line Bank Street. Apprximately 57.2 metres
 ii SOUTH SIDE: From the western kerb line with Bank Street in a north westerly then sough westerly direction for approximately 41.9 metres.

B1256 Coggeshall Road (Advisory) SOUTH SIDE: Between the eastern and western kerb line with Bank Street. Approximately 13.8 metres

The width of the cycle lane will be approximately 1.5 metres; however, it is proposed to install an adjacent cycle defender lane with a width of 0.5 metres to provide physical segregation between cyclists and vehicular traffic. Carriageway widening is also proposed to accommodate the contraflow cycle lane. The Essex County Council (Rayne Road, Braintree) (One Way) Order 2011 and The Essex County Council (Various Roads, Braintree) (Contraflow Bus Lane & One Way) Order 2022 are hereby revoked. All restrictions shall continue in force by virtue of this order.
Notice is also given that under Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that Essex County Council proposes to upgrade the existing Pelican Crossing to a Puffin Crossing on B1256 Rayne Road, Braintree:
Road Description

B1256 Rayne The centre line of the crossing is located approximately 2.5 metres west from the Road property boundaries of numbers 3/4 B1256 Rayne Road.

The width between the crossing give way lines will remain the same as approximately 2.8 metres, however due to carriageway widening the crossing length will increase to approximately 5.2 metres. Zig zags associated with the crossing will remain and have the lining refreshed on the northern side but be removed on the south side to accommodate the cycle lane.

Notice of Variation given under sections 35C and 46A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 of On-Street Parking Permit Charges in the Braintree District Area (Braintree District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Order 2019 Schedule 4 Permit and Ticket Parking Charges

Notice is hereby given that the Colchester Borough Council as the lead authority for The North Essex Parking Partnership, itself acting as agents for the highway authority Essex County Council, intends, not less than twenty-one days from the date of this notice, to vary the above Order relating to fees and charges under Section 35C and 46A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. It is intended that the changes will take place on 18th July 2022.
The variation will have the effect of changing the tariff of fees for On-Street Parking, Exemptions and Permits - all other fees and charges in the Order will continue at their existing tariffs. Existing and proposed charges are detailed in the Schedule to this Notice.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Bridge End/Bridge Street, Great Bardfield in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 70m south west of the junction with Beslyns Road for a distance of approximately 85m in a south easterly then south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 25th July 2022 for 40 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH10003448 -Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while brickwork repair works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Bridge End, Finchingfield Road, Bardfield Road, The Green, Brent Hall Road, Sampford Road, Hawkins Hill, Hill Road, Thaxted Road, Great Sampford Road, Walden Road, Newbiggen Street, Watling Street, Orange Street, Mill End, Dunmow Road, Beaumont Hill, Lime Tree Hill, Church Street, Church End, St Edmunds Lane, Braintree Road, Dunmow Bypass, Blake End, The Street, Brook Street, Crown Street, Bridge Street and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 30th June 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Glebe Avenue, Braintree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Glebe Avenue, Braintree in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Church Road to its junction with Bailey Bridge Road a distance of approximately 620m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 18th July 2022 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2329108 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Churchill Road, Deanery Hill, Church Lane, Church Lane Roundabout, Boleyns Avenue, Bailey Bridge Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 30th June 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Hulls Lane, Shalford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hulls Lane, Shalford in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 255m west of its junction with The Street for a distance of approximately 125m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 19th July 2022 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03010562799 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Anglian Water An alternative route is available via Wethersfield Road, Braintree Road, Silver Street, Meadside, Finchingfield Road, Lombard Street, Willows Road, Cross Hill and vice versa (with access only to Cross Farm Road, Pump Lane and Hulls Lane).
The Order will come into effect on 30th June 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Ashen Road, Ovington) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Ashen Road, Ovington in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 130m south west then north west of its junction with Clare Road for a distance of approximately 40m in a north westerly then south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 5th July 2022 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03159866527/1 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while stop tap replacement works are undertaken by Anglian Water.
An alternative route is available via Hollow Road, Ashen Road, Bradley Hill, Clare Road and vice versa with access only into Ashen Road.
The Order came into effect on 16th June 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Boultwood Farm Road, Stisted) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Boultwood Farm Road, Stisted in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Rayne Hatch Wood Road to its junction with Kentish Farm Road a distance of approximately 1350m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 9th July 2022 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (KA160LT003-E-HHGABE - Gigaclear Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while fibre optic broadband installation works are undertaken by Gigaclear Ltd.
An alternative route is available via Rayne Hatch Wood Road, Halstead Road, High Garrett, Lyons Hall Road, Woolmer Green Road, Kentish Farm Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 16th June 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Rayne Hatch Lane, Stisted) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Rayne Hatch Lane, Stisted in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Rayne Hatch Wood Road to its junction with High Barn Hall Road a distance of approximately 690m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 5th July 2022 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit (KA160LT004-E-HHGABE - Gigaclear Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while fibre optic broadband installation works are undertaken by Gigaclear Ltd.
An alternative route is available via Rayne Hatch Lane, Halstead Road, Rayne Hatch Wood Road and vice versa.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Terling Hall Road, Terling/Hatfield Peverel in the District of Braintree, from the junction with Porridge Pot Lane for a distance of approximately 930m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 8th July 2022 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit (KA160LT003-E-TERLING - Gigaclear Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while fibre optic broadband installation works are undertaken by Gigaclear Ltd.
