(Hoe Mill Bridge, The Causeway, lilting and Woodham Walter, District of Maldon) (Width Restriction) Order 202*
Notice is hereby given that Essex County Council Intends to make the above Order, under Sections 1 (1), 2(1) to (4), 3(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act") (as amended) and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act.
Effect of the Order: To Implement A 2.0 Metre Width Restriction on the following lengths of road, in the District of Maldon.
Road Description
Hoe Mill Bridge, The Causeway
From a point approximately 10 metres southeast of Hoe Mill Bridge, to a point approximately 10 metres north of Hoe Mill Bridge, a distance of approximately 33.6 metres in a north-westerly direction.

(Green Lane, Latchingdon/Althome) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Green Lane, Latehingdon/Althorne in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 625m east of the junction with Burnham Road for a distance of approximately 605m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 2nd February 2022 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30098154344 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via Green Lane, Grange Avenue, Steeple Road, Burnham Road, Burnham Road - B1018 and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 13th January 2022 and may continue in force tor 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Orchard Road, Burnham-on-Crouch) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Orchard Road, Burnham-on- Crouch in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Providence for a distance of approximately 50m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 1 st February 2022 for 12 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ5011001122179 - Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while mains replacement works are undertaken by Cadent.
An alternative route is available via Orchard Road, Dunkirk Road, Arcadia Road, Devonshire Road, Station Road, Western Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 13th January 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Braxted Road, Little Braxted) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Braxted Road, Little Braxted in the District of Maldon, from its junction with Beacons Lane for a distance of approximately 140m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 19th January 2022 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EN014M24639 - Essex And Suffolk Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while interim to permanent reinstatement works are undertaken by Essex And Suffolk Water.
An alternative route is available via Braxted Road, Beacons Lane, Beacon Hill, Kelvedon Road, Heath Lane and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 30th December 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Foxhall Road, Mayland/Steeple/Southminster) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Foxhall Road, Mayland/Steeple/ Southminster in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 895m east of its junction with Mayland Hill for a distance of approximately 825m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 20th January 2022 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC0080GEA54091375 - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead cabling works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via Foxhall Road, Highlands Hill, Green Lane, Grange Avenue, Bumham Road - B1018, Main Road, Southminster Road, Scotts Hill, David Fisher Way, Queen Street, Pantile Hill, High Street, Queenborough Road, North End, Cripplegate, Tillingham Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 30th December 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Hackmans Lane, Purleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order To temporarily close that length of Hackmans Lane, Purleigh in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 2220m north west of its junction with Hagg Hill for a distance of approximately 130m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 19th January 2022 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008WCRC265V - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while tree cutting and cabling works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via Hackmans Lane, Marlpits Road, Bumham Road, Chelmsford Road, Barons Lane, Pump Lane, Fambridge Road, Latchingdon Road, Stow Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 23rd December 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Mayland Hill, Mayland) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order To temporarily close that length of Mayland Hill, Mayland in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 20m north of its junction with Southminster Road tor a distance of approximately 350m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 24th January 2022 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008PTMS266686A - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole testing works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via Southminster Road, Main Road, Burnham Road -B1018, Green Lane, Mayland Hill and vice versa.

(Sheepcoates Lane, Great/Little Totham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order To temporarily close that length of Sheepcoates Lane, Great/Little Totham in the District of Maldon, from a point approximately 100m south west of the junction with Park Wood Lane for a distance of approximately 575m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 26th January 2022 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30091708738 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by UK Power Networks. An alternative route is available via Sheepcoates Lane, Chigborough Road, Goldhanger Road, Colchester Road, Broad Street Green Road, Maldon Road, Hall Road, Church Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 30th December 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Various Roads, District of Maldon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Clearway) & (Market Hill, Maldon) (Temporary Suspension of 7.5 tonne
Weight Restriction) (No.9) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order
1. To temporarily close that length of road in the District of Maldon as specified in the schedule to this Order.

2. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above length of road for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.

3. To temporarily suspend the 7.5 tonne weight restriction on that length of Market Hill, Maldon from its junction with Anchorage Hill for a distance of approximately 317m in a southerly direction as detailed in 'The Essex County Council (Market Hill, Maldon) (7.5 Tonne Weight Restriction) Order 2009'.

"The Essex County Council (Maldon District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Areas) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force
The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 30th December 2021 exact dates will be specified on one.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained tor emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.
