Definitive Map and Statement for the County of Essex The Definitive Map Modification No. 681 Restricted Byway 67 Shalford, Braintree District Order 2021

The above Order made on 14 October 2021, if confirmed as made, will modify the Definitive Map for the area by:-
1. Upgrading to restricted byway (no. 67) a length of Footpath 63 Shalford from Iron Bridge Farm in a north, north easterly direction for a distance of 185 metres to the western bank of the River Pant north of the footbridge.

2. Adding a length of restricted byway (no. 67) from the western side of the River Pant, north of the footbridge, fording the river and continuing in an easterly direction for a distance of 73 metres to the junction with Footpath 68.

3. Upgrading a length of Footpath 67 Shalford from the junction with Footpath 68 in a south-south easterly direction for a distance of 134 metres then turning east for a distance of approximately 110 metres before turning generally south to Lones Hall Lane south of Lones Hole.

Any representation or objection relating to the Order must be sent in writing to the Director for Essex Legal Services, Essex County Council, Seax House, Victoria Road South, Chelmsford, Essex, CM11QH, to arrive not later than Wednesday 5th January 2022, and it is requested that the grounds on which it is made are stated. If no representations or objections are duly made to the Order, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Essex County Council, instead of submitting the Order to the Secretary of State, may itself confirm the Order. If the Order is submitted to the Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, any representations or objections, which have been duly made and not withdrawn, will be sent with it.

(Armond Road, Witham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Armond Road, Witham in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Highflelds Road to its junction with Guithavon Valley a distance of approximately 650m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 2nd December 2021 tor 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2320842 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary tor these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while footway repair works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Highfields Road, Spa Road, Powers Hall End, Chipping Hill, Braintree Road, Collingwood Road, Guithavon Valley and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 18th November 2021 and may continue in force tor 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Bailey Bridge Road, Braintree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Bailey Bridge Road, Braintree in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Normandy Way to the junction with Oak Tree Gardens a distance of approximately 60m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 6th December 2021 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03010621444 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required tor the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Anglian Water. An alternative route is available via Bailey Bridge Road, Queens Road, Maysent Avenue, Boleyns Avenue and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 18th November 2021 and may continue in force tor 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Pattens Farm Road, Wethersf ield) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Pattens Farm Road, Wethersfield in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Blackmore End for a distance of approximately 1800m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 8th December 2021 tor 7 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2322441 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Blackmore End Road, Morris Green Road, Wethersfield Road, Hedingham Road, Blackmore End and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 18th November 2021 and may continue in force tor 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Rickstones Road, Rivenhall) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Rickstones Road, Rivenhall in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 65m west of its junction with Beech Road for a distance of approximately 160m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 12th December 2021 tor 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008WCLV0K6W - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary tor these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead cabling works are undertaken by Openreach. An alternative route is available via Rickstones Road, Church Road, Park Road, Western Road, Temple Lane, Witham Road, Crossing Road, Conrad Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 18th November 2021 and may continue in force tor 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Spring Lane, Hatfield Peverel) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Spring Lane, Hatfield Peverel in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 830m north of its junction with Maldon Road tor a distance of approximately 45m in a northwesterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 1st December 2021 tor 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008PTMS234493A -Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole testing works are undertaken by Openreach. An alternative route is available via Spring Lane, Hatfield Road, Wickham Bishops Road, Maldon Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 18th November 2021 and may continue in force tor 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Fuller Street, Fairstead) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Fuller Street, Fairstead in the District of Braintree, from the junction with Fairstead Lodge Road for a distance of approximately 55m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 22nd November 2021 tor 7 days, or where stated on a valid permit (KA120GCECCTNA03122 - Gigaclear Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary tor these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while fibre optic broadband installation works are undertaken by Gigaclear Ltd.

(Maldon Road, Kelvedon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Maldon Road, Kelvedon in the District of Braintree, from its junction with London Road to its junction with Ewell Hall Chase a distance of approximately 320m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 22nd November 2021 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH10003131 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary tor these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required tor the safety of the public and workforce while bridge repair works are undertaken by Essex County Council. (Pods Lane, Rayne) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Pods Lane, Rayne in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Dunmow Road tor a distance of approximately 80m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 23rd November 2021 tor 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD01559167711 - Anglian Water). (Shalford Road, Rayne) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length ot Shalford Road, Rayne in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Pods Lane for a distance of approximately 185m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 23rd November 2021 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD01557979003 - Anglian Water). (Sheepcotes Lane, Silver End) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length ot Sheepcotes Lane, Silver End in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 155m south east then north east of its junction with Boars Tye Road for a distance of approximately 265m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 23rd November 2021 tor 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008PTMS285192 - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary tor these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required tor the safety of the public and workforce while pole testing works are undertaken by Openreach. Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
