(Byway 5, Bardfield Saling) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council Intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close Byway 5, Bardfield Saling in the District of Braintree, for its entire length, from its junction with Crows Green Road northeast to its {unction with Elms Farm Road.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 26/10/2021 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while drainage and resurfacing works are undertaken. The alternative route will be via The Street, New Green, Plums Lane, Elms Farm Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 26/10/2021 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Byway 7, Wethersfield, Braintree (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2021

Further to a notice: Under section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which commenced on 17 September 2021 and 8 October 2021.
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order To temporarily close Byway 7, Wethersfield, in the District of Braintree, from the northern half of byway 7, from where Widleybrooke Lane joins the junction to Hudson Hill for a distance of approximately 950 metres.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 29 October 2021, weather permitting, or where appropriate signs are showing, and is required for the safety of the public whilst drainage and re-surfacing work is carried out.
Alternative route will be via Widleybrooke Lane, then Blackmore End onto Hedingham Road ant then onto Hudsons Hill.
The Order will come into effect on 29 October 2021 and may continue in force for 6 months, or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Braintree District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Amendment No.16) Order 2021

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1), 45,46,49,53 and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To introduce 'No Waiting at Any Time' restrictions on the following roads, Witham in the District of Braintree:

Road

Description

Ager Road
NORTH SIDE: From a point approximately 4 metres south west of the western extended kerb line of Road 1, north east for a distance of approximately 27 metres. SOUTH SIDE:
i. From a point approximately 3 metres south west of the south western extended kerb line with Pavelin Avenue, north east for a distance of approximately 21 metres.
ii. From a point approximately 5 metres south west of the south western extended kerb line with Butcher Row, north east for a distance of approximately 29 metres.
iii. From a point approximately 5 metres south west of the south western extended kerb line with Ingles Drive, north east for a distance of approximately 33.6 metres.

Bones Croft
BOTH SIDES:
i. From its junction with Joslin Avenue, proceeding east then north east for a distance of approximately 37 metres.
ii. From a point approximately 33 metres north west from the northern extended kerb line of Bradshaw Gardens, north west for a distance of approximately 21.5 metres (including the turning head on the western side of the carriageway).
WEST SIDE: From a point approximately 3 metres south west from its junction with Bradshaw Gardens, north east then north west for a distance of approximately 24 metres.
EAST SIDE: From the south western extended kerb line of Bradshaw Gardens, south west for approximately 4 metres.

Bradshaw Gardens
BOTH SIDES: From its junction Bones Croft, south east for a distance of approximately 9 metres.
NORTH EAST SIDE: From a point approximately 50 metres south east of its junction with the eastern kerb line of Bones Croft, south east for a distance of approximately 11.5 metres.
SOUTH WEST SIDE: From a point approximately 47.5 metres south east of its junction with the south eastern kerb line of Bones Croft, south west for a distance of approximately 8.5 metres.

Bradshaw Gardens Turning Head 
NORTH WEST SIDE: From a point approximately 3 metres south west of the southern kerb line of Bradshaw Gardens, north east for a distance of approximately 24.5 metres to the north eastern end of the turning
head.
SOUTH EAST SIDE: From a point approximately 6.5 metres south west of the southern kerb line of Bradshaw Gardens located at the south western end of the turning head, north east for a distance of approximately 26 metres to the north eastern end of the turning head.
NORTH EAST SIDE: From the north western kerb to the south east kerb for a distance of approximately 5 metres (entire length of kerb along the north eastern end of turning head).

Butcher Row
BOTH SIDES: From the junction with Ager Road, south east for approximately 12 metres.

Claydon Grove
BOTH SIDES:
i. From the junction with Bones Croft, south east for a distance of approximately 8 metres.
ii. From the south western end of the road, in a north easterly direction for a distance of approximately 28 metres (Including turning head/car park access).

Ingles Drive
BOTH SIDES: From the junction with Ager Road, south east for approximately 10 metres.

Joslin Avenue
NORTH WEST SIDE: From a point approximately 24 metres north east from the eastern extended kerb line with Ingles Drive, north east then north for approximately 41 metres.
EAST SIDE: From a point approximately 48 metres north east from the eastern extended kerb line with Ingles Drive, north east then north for approximately 24 metres.

Pavelin Avenue
BOTH SIDES: From the junction with Ager Road, south east for approximately 5 metres.

Road 1
BOTH SIDES: From its junction with Ager Road, north west for approximately 11 metres.

This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Braintree District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019 by introducing tile numbers TL805 132 and TL810132 revision 0 and substituting tile number TL805130 revision 1 to revision 2.
Date of operation: The Order will come into operation on 29 October 2021.

Application to the high court: Anyone who wishes to question the validity of the Order of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.

(Byway 51, Little Waltham) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2021

Further to a notice: Under section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which commenced on 24 September 2021.
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order To temporarily close Byway 51, Little Waltham in the City of Chelmsford from its junction with Footpath 40, east to its junction with Footpath 42 Little Waltham, a distance of approximately 120 metres.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 15/10/2021 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required tor the safety of the public and workforce while investigation works are carried out due to flooding and debris causing the byway to be unsafe, this closure will also allow tor the installation of depth markers at the site.
Alternative route will be north via B1008 Main Road, east via The Street/Brook Hill and south via Back Lane and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 15/10/2021 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Footpath 19, Broomfield) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2021

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order To temporarily close Footpath 19, Broomfield in the City of Chelmsford, from the Parish boundary with Footpath 4 Springfield, west for approximately 120 metres.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 15/10/2021 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while works to construct Beaulieu development Zones M&N (planning permission reference 19/00586/REM) are undertaken. The footpath currently dissects these zones, so a diversion is necessary for public safety due to the close proximity of the works. This temporary closure will also allow for resurfacing of the footpath. The alternative route will be via from the parish boundary of Footpath 19 Broomfield/ Footpath 4 Springfield, following the informal path south then west adjacent to Regiment Gate then north where it meets the other end of Footpath 19 Broomfield and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 15/10/2021 and may continue in force for 6 months however a further extension for a period of up to 12 months will be applied for to the Department for Transport in order to facilitate the full completion of the construction works.

(Parkend Lane (Byway 13), Shalford, in the District of Braintree) (Temporary Prohibition of Motor Vehicles) Order 202*
Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section S14(1) and Part III of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), and Schedule 1 of The Traffic Orders Procedures Regulations 1996.
Effect of the order To Implement: Temporary Prohibition of Motor Vehicles To temporarily prohibit access for motor vehicles on Parkend Lane (Byway 13), Shalford, in the District of Braintree. From a point approximately 1250 metres southwest of the Braintree Road and Church End junction, heading in a north-westerly direction for its entire length, approximately 1771 metres, to its junction with unnamed lane leading to Hunt's Farm.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 01 November 2021 to 31 March 2022 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required to allow for repair works to be carried out, namely, filling of ruts and deep holes to prevent interim worsening.
The alternative route will be via Shalford Green, Braintree Road, Hull's Lane, unnamed Lane leading to Hunt's Farm, and vice versa.
Access for emergency service vehicles, horse riders, motorcycles, pedestrians and for works vehicles related to the maintenance, improvement, or reconstruction of byway 13, Shalford, will be maintained at all times during the works. Access will also be permitted to properties on or adjacent to the Byway.
The Order will come into operation on 01 November 2021 and may continue in force until 31 March 2022 or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Chaucer Crescent, Braintree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order To temporarily close that length of Chaucer Crescent, Braintree in the District of Braintree, from a point 185m south east of its junction with Masefield Road for a distance of approximately 55m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 9th November 2021 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03010621522 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Anglian Water.
An alternative route is available via Chaucer Crescent, Browning Road, Challis Lane, Masefield Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 21st October 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Rickstones Road, Rivenhall) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Rickstones Road, Rivenhall in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Beech Road for a distance of approximately 110m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 9th November 2021 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008WCLHCV6WP0LE - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via Rickstones Road, Church Road, Park Road, Western Road, Temple Lane, Witham Road, Cressing Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 21st October 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Rickstones Road, Rivenhall) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Rickstones Road, Rivenhall in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Forest Road to its junction with Rectory Lane a distance of approximately 345m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 10th November 2021 for 2 nights (20:00-05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (EP02231005566 - Knight Group Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while resurfacing works are undertaken by Knight Group Ltd.
An alternative route is available via Rickstones Road, Church Road, Park Road, Western Road, Boars Tye Road, Sheepcotes Lane, Shardloes Lane, Lanham Green, Lanham Green Road, Ashes Road, Long Green, A120 J B1018 Roundabout, Galley Roundabout, Cressing Road, Cressing Road Roundabout, Papley Road, Braintree Road, Witham Road, Polecat Road, Temple Lane and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 21st October 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Station Road, White Notley) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Station Road, White Notley in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Vicarage Lane for a distance of approximately 185m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 29th October 2021 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD01458954457 -Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary tor these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while boundary box installation works are undertaken by Anglian Water. The Order will come into effect on 7th October 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Bovingdon Road, Braintree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021
Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Bovingdon Road, Braintree in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 1500m south of its junction with Codham Mill Lane tor a distance of approximately 280m in a south westerly then south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 27th October 2021 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008WCLC5F3SA - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead cable works are undertaken by Openreach. An alternative route is available via Bovingdon Road, Church Street, Church Lane, Church Lane Roundabout, Broad Road, Convent Hill, Broad Road Roundabout, High Garrett, Gosfield Road, Braintree Road, The Street, Church Road, Parkhall Road, Beazley End, Bovingdon Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 7th October 2021 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Church Lane, Braintree) (Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) Order 2021

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily introduce a 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction in that length of Church Lane, Braintre in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 50m north west of its junction with Coldnailhurst Avenue for a distance of approximately 270m in a north westerly direction. "The Essex County Council (Braintree District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
