Essex County Council

(Footpath 26, Myland) [Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order (No.2) 2020 Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close Footpath 26, Myland in the Borough of Colchester, for a distance of approximately 60 metres located under the rail tracks (START - Easting: 598491, Northing: 226561. END -Easting: 598491, Northing: 226502). The closure is scheduled to commence at 8AM on 05/01/2021 to 16:00PM on 08/01/2021 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while works to remove a propping system within the subway under the rail tracks are undertaken byAmcoGiffen/Network Rail following completion of the recent repair works within the structure. The Order will come into effect on 05/01/2021 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Goojerat Road, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2021 Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close Goojerat Road, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from Circular Road West for approximately 100m west to side road leading to car park.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 05/01/2021 to

26/01/2021 or where appropriate signs are showing and

weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety

of the public and workforce while new foul sewer, relating

to a section 50 licence are undertaken.

The alternative route will be via Goojerat Road, B1026

Butt Road, Circular Road West and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 05/01/2021 and may

continue in force for 18 months or until the works have

been completed, whichever is the earlier.
