Effect of the order: To formalise the existing 20mph Speed Limit on the following lengths of roads (Mill Road), Myland in the Borough of Colchester (the roads are currently of restricted road status, 30mph by virtue of street lighting): Road Description



Antonius Way From its junction with Titus Way, north east for its entire length. Augustus Close From its junction with Trajan Close, north west for its entire length. Bedford Road From its junction with Mill Road, south-east, then south-west for its entire length.

Brinkley Grove From its junction with Mill Road, south easterly for approximately Road 40 metres.



Domitian Close From its junction with Honorius Drive, south east for its entire length. Hadrian Close From its junction with Titus Way, west, south west and then north

west for its entire length. Honorius Drive From its junction with Titus Way, east then north-east for its entire

'The Essex County Council (Severalls Lane and Mill Road, Colchester) (40mph Speed Limit) Order 1980', 'The Essex County Council (Mill Road, Colchester) (Speed Limits) Order 1980' and 'The Essex County Council (Mill Road, Colchester) (Speed Limit) Order 1990' are hereby revoked.

(Cannon Street & Artillery Street, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under

section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close that length of Cannon Street, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Barrack Road for a distance of approximately 20m in a southerly direction.



2. To temporarily close that length of Artillery Street, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Barrack Road for a distance of approximately 20m in a southerly direction.



The closures are scheduled to commence on 4th January 2021 tor 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC00804JANWBNJCH4TA1 & 2 - BT).
