(Footpath 46, Myland) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2020

Notice is hereby given that the above Order made by Essex County Council, under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, has been continued in force with the consent of the Secretary of State for the Department for Transport until 01/03/2021. Effect of the order: To temporarily close the following lengths of Footpath 46, Myland in the Borough of Colchester: Footpath Description

Footpath 46, i. From its junction with Footpath 45, Myland, west for a distance of

Myland approximately 70 metres.



ii. From a point approximately 180 metres west of its junction with Footpath 45, Myland, west for approximately 240 metres to its junction with Footpath 38, Myland.

The alternative route will be via footpath running parallel to Footpath 46 and vice versa.

The closure commenced on 02/03/2020 and is required for the safety of the public and

workforce while works to construct a new highway and drainage are undertaken

(London Road, Great Horkesley) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of London Road, Great Horkesley in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Fishponds Hill for a distance of approximately 110m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 10/08/2020 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC005CC1W0010AUGWAMV6E9H - BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/ or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead structure works are undertaken by BT. An alternative route is available via London Road, Tog Lane, School Lane, The Causeway, Nayland Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 30/07/2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier

(Prettygate Road, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Prettygate Road, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with King Harold Road to its junction with The Commons a distance of approximately 305m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 11/08/2020 for 5 nights (20:00 - 05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2299694 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via King Harold Road, Ambrose Avenue, The Commons and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 30/07/2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Well Lane, Copford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Well Lane, Copford in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Easthorpe Road for a distance of approximately 10m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 03/08/2020 for 57 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP02231004379 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while external repair works are undertaken by Essex County Council. (Beckingham Hall Road, Birch) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Beckingham Hall Road, Birch in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 90m southwest of its junction with Maldon Road for a distance of approximately 65m in a southwesterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 30/07/2020 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC005CC1W0030JULEA4TLY56 - BT). (Burrs Road, Clacton on Sea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Burrs Road, Clacton on Sea in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 80m east of its junction with Telford Road for a distance of approximately 30m in a southeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 26/07/2020 for 1 night, (00:30 - 07:30) or where stated on a valid permit (KL735COC-68-04-260720 - Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. (Colchester Road, Great Bromley) (Temporary Introduction of 40mph Speed Limit) Order 2020

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily introduce a 40mph speed limit in that length of Colchester Road, Great Bromley, in the District of Tendring from a point approximately 390m southwest of its junction with Ardleigh Road for a distance of approximately 155m in a southwesterly direction. The temporary speed limit is scheduled to commence on 31/07/2020 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC005CC9W000OGEA65635412 - BT). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/ or displayed on one.network. Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of East Street, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 15m west of its junction with Greenstead Road for a distance of approximately 50m in a westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 26/07/2020 for 1 night, (00:30 - 07:30) or where stated on a valid permit (KL735COC-53-17-260720 - Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd). (High Street, Walton on the Naze) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) & (Newgate Street, Walton on the Naze) (Temporary Suspension of One Way and Temporary Introduction of One Way) Order 2020

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under

Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close that length of High Street, Walton on the Naze, in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Old Pier Street to its junction with Mill Lane, a distance of approximately 30m.



2. To temporarily suspend the One Way restriction in that length of Newgate Street, Walton on the Naze from its junction with Suffolk Street for a distance of approximately 29 yds (traffic flowing in a southerly direction) as detailed in 'The County Council of Essex (Traffic Regulation) (Walton on the Naze) Order 1956.' for the duration of the closure only.



3. To temporarily introduce a One Way restriction in that length of Newgate Street, Walton on the Naze from its junction with Suffolk Street for a distance of approximately 29 yds (traffic to flow in a northerly direction) for the duration of the closure only.



The closure is scheduled to commence on 05/08/2020 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2282925 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway repair works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via Old Pier Street, Newgate Street.

The Order came into effect on 16/07/2020 and may continue in force for 18 months

or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Kingsland Road, West Mersea) (Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) Order 2020

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily introduce a 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction in that length of Kingsland Road, West Mersea in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Barfield Road to its junction with Yorick Road, a distance of approximately 210m.

"The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force. The restriction is scheduled to commence on 29/07/2020 for 7 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2282400 - Essex County Council). (Plough Road, Great Bentley) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Plough Road, Great Bentley in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Station Forecourt for a distance of approximately 45m in a southeasterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 27/07/2020 for 2 nights (23:50-04:50), or where stated on a valid permit (KL735COC-60-62-270720 -Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. (Rectory Road, Little Bentley) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Rectory Road, Little Bentley in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Harwich Road to its junction with Manningtree Road, a distance of approximately 735m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 27/07/2020 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2298028 - Essex County Council). Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of South Green Road, Fingringhoe in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 100m east of its junction with Chapel Road for a distance of approximately 45m in an easterly direction.
