(Footpath 10, Halstead) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2020

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close Footpath 10, Halstead in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Trinity Street, north for approximately 50 metres. The closure is scheduled to commence on 13/07/2020 to 28/08/2020 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while works to repair and stabilise the eastern wall of the Holy Trinity churchyard are undertaken.

The alternative route will be via Trinity Street, Chapel Hill, Beridge Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 13/07/2020 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Various Roads, Earls Colne) (40mph Speed Limit) Order 2020 Further to the notice published on the 03/04/2020, notice is hereby given that Essex County Council has made the above Order under Sections 84(1) and (2) and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order: To extend the existing 40mph Speed limit on Station Road, Earls Colne, in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 19 metres north west of its junction with the northern kerb line of De Vere Road, in a north westerly direction for a distance of approximately 77 metres (the road is currently national speed limit). 'The Essex County Council (Earls Colne) (40mph Speed Limit) Order 2004' and 'The Essex County Council (B1024 Coggeshall Road, America Road, Curds Road and Station Road, Earls Colne) (40mph Speed Limit) Order 2014' are hereby revoked, the restriction contained within these order shall continue in force by virtue of this order. Date of operation: The Order will come into operation on 14 July 2020. Further details: If you need to view a hard copy of the order and plans please call 07703796401 or 07515999663 to arrange a suitable time to inspect the documents. Documents can be made available for inspection 8.30am-5.30pm Mon-Thurs and 8.30am-5pm on Friday at Essex County Council, County Hall E block main reception, Market Road, Chelmsford if so required following the current social distancing restrictions. Alternatively documents can be posted to you upon request. Application to the high court: Anyone who wishes to question the validity of the Order of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.

(Tilbury Road/Tilbury Green/Meadowend, Ridgewell) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Tilbury Road/Tilbury Green/ Meadowend, Ridgewell in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Ridgewell Road to its junction with Ashen Road a distance of approximately 2350m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 30/07/2020 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2299435 & 399 & 440 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via Ridgewell Road, Mill Road, Chapel Road, Ashen Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 17/07/2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Hedingham Road, Gosfield) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2020

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hedingham Road, Gosfield in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 355m north of its junction with Halstead Road for a distance of approximately 45m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 12/07/2020 for 1 day and again on 19/07/2020 for 1 day (Sunday working only), or where stated on a valid permit (AD03010520171 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Anglian Water. An alternative route is available via Halstead Road - A1124, Hedingham Road, High Street, Bridge Street, Trinity Street, Mount Hill, Braintree Road, Bournebridge Hill, Pennypot Corner and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 03/07/2020 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
